Phelps County R-III is working on the following theme this year: Don't Bug Me, I'm Reading! The children will be working toward reading goals throughout the year. As we continue to learn more about reading we understand that parent and school cooperation creates the perfect environment for success.

About Our School

Phelps County R-III School District is located in rural Phelps County. The school serves grades PreK - 8 with a student population of approximately 200. The school is served by a Board of Education that truly believes in the students and an education that prepares the students for becoming lifelong learners. Our staff, faculty members, and administrator work together to create a family atmosphere where everyone enjoys learning - children and adults. Our community families work together to support those learning endeavors.
